L'unité spéciale du 21 Jump Street fait son retour... sur grand écran !

Réalisée par Chris Miller et Phil Lord, l'adaptation cinématographique de la série des années 1980 sortira le 6 juin prochain. Ce feuilleton télévisé, qui a duré de 1987 à 1992, avait fait découvrir au public le jeune acteur Johnny Depp et avait ainsi lancé sa carrière. Ce dernier fera d'ailleurs une rapide apparition au cours du film, le temps d'un caméo.

L'histoire est celle de deux agents de l'unité secrète de la police spéciale de Los Angeles, basée au 21 Jump Street, recrutés pour leur physique juvénile afin d'infiltrer les lycées. Leur mission : déjouer les trafics de drogue en s'intégrant aux groupes d'élèves. Pour interpréter les deux jeunes policiers, Jenko et Schmidt, les réalisateurs ont opté pour Channing Tatum (Cher John, G.I. Joe : Le réveil du cobra) et Jonah Hill (SuperGrave, Funny people, American trip). On retrouvera également au casting Ellie Kemper, Dave Franco, Brie Larson ou encore Ice Cube.

A noter que ce long-métrage, qui durera 1 h 50, n'est pas une adaptation sérieuse de la série télévisée mais au contraire une comédie débridée dont elle s'inspire très librement et qui joue sur l'auto-dérision.
